How to Join the Federation

There are several steps to becoming a member of the Federation either as a Club/Organization or as an Individual.  Go to the About Us page to get more information on what the Federation does.

First - Come Meet Us

Come to a meeting and meet us.  Hear and see what we do and talk about.  If you are representing a dog club, you'll want to know what the Federation does to preserve your rights as a breeder or exhibitor and promote the dog fancy in Virginia.  We have two types of Club membership - Class A and Class B.  Class A is for organizations who are primarily dedicated to advancing the best interests of purebred dogs and/or the dog fancy.  Class B is for organizations that do not satisfy the criteria of Class A but do subscribe to the Federation Articles of Incorporation and By-Laws. e.g. Virginia Veterinary Medicine Assoc.  Dues for Class A is $50/yr; Class B is $20/yr.  We also offer an Individual membership for those who subscribe to the Federation Articles of Incorporation and By-Laws and wish to participate as an individual.  Individual membership is $20/yr.
