Our annual legislative report is posted. Click on LEGISLATIVE and then 2013 LEGISLATIVE REVIEW. You will have noticed that there have not been any alerts or news so far this year. That’s because we had a very, very quiet session as far as proposed dog legislation. Alice Harrington, co-legislative liaison, spent several days attending committee and subcommittee meetings to keep an eye on a few bills, but nothing of immediate relevance to dog owners came up. A couple of self-serving animal rights bills were proposed, but both died quietly and quickly. This is all good, because on the federal level, PUPS is back. More on that tomorrow.
